How It Works? JollySwap.com is designed to be fair and easy to use. You do not have to find anybody to ‘swap’ holiday homes with. Plus, there are no membership fees and no depositing fees. When a member deposits a week they earn a credit. This then entitles them to book a week in a like-for-like holiday home. In addition, they can book larger accommodation by depositing more weeks and getting more credits or they can book smaller accommodation for longer (i.e. 2/3 weeks). The credit system works as follows: • 1 bed apartment 1 credits • 2/3 bed apartment 2 credits • 3/4 bed villa (detached) 3 credits • 5+ bed villa 4 credits Using this system, if you deposit a week from a 5 bed villa you get 4 credits. If you wish to book a week in a 5 bed villa you need 4 credits. Somebody with a 2 bed apartment can do this by depositing 2 weeks to get the 4 credits. Additionally somebody in a 5 bed villa can deposit one week and have a week in a 1 bed apartment plus a week in a 4 bed villa which again will cost 4 credits. Once you find the holiday home you wish to book, and you have enough credits, just click on ‘book’ and pay the Conversion Fee. You automatically get an email with the owner’s details and they get an email with your details confirming the booking. You then simply get in touch with the owner to arrange keys etc You do not have to stop advertising your week once you have deposited it. If you subsequently get a booking, and your week has not been booked, you can amend the deposited week. If your week does not get booked out, you will need to deposit another week in order to keep your credits. |
